Where To Pay DFA Passport Application Fees?

All Applicants of Philippine Passport can now pay the application fees for first time applicants or passport renewal through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ePayment Portal set up by DFA.

The DFA ePayment Portal is a recent upgrade to the existing online appointment system which enables the passport applicants to pay their passport processing fees through the authorized partners nationwide which will confirm their Scheduled Passport Appointment.

All ePayment portal or authorized payment partners will accommodate all the payments by the applicants who applied in the DFA Passport Online Appointment system website starting August 2018 nationwide.

The process improvement will make sure that will maximize the potential of Online Passport Appointment System as well as the capacity of their Consular Offices.

With the implementation of ePayment system of Passport Application, the Department of Foreign Affairs expects to minimize the no-shows. Through pre-payment scheme, applicants will be encouraged to show up to their respective DFA Branches or they will forfeit their passport processing fees.

This will significantly increased the attendance of applicants for passport to 97% from the existing 60-65% show up rate.

DFA also expects that the ePayment will eradicate the red tape including the fixers and scammers since the scheme requires all applicants to to pay for the passport application fee in advance before their scheduled date. DFA also implemented a security feature where each transaction is NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Currently, the Passport ePayment System does not allow Applicants who already paid the passport fees to refund the payment but the Agency assured the public that if there will be any concern and the problem is due to DFA’s negligence, the Agency will address the concern or issue in favor of the customer.

Due to the changes, the passport application fees are PHP1,200 for expedited and PHP900 for regular processing and an additional PHP50 convenience fee will be charged by the authorized payment centers.
