An E-Receipt from Philippine Passport Application is a proof that the scheduled Passport Appointment was already settled or paid for his or her passport application.

The E Receipt (Electronic Receipt) shows the Electronic Number, the name of the merchant where the applicant paid the appointment, Bar code as well as the schedule appointment details such as the name of the applicant, DFA Site name, processing type and the amount paid.



E Receipt can be obtained from the confirmation email sent by the DFA website to the applicant’s email address.


YES. E Receipt is required to be presented. As mentioned above, the E Receipt is an evidence of one’s payment of the passport application. No E Receipt means you’re not yet didn’t settled or paid the respective passport application fee.

After you have scheduled the Date and Time of your appointment and have filled up the application form with your personal information. Anyway, after doing that thing in the DFA Website, you will receive an email sent by the DFA Website to your email. The email has a subject line of DFA Passport Appointment System – Payment Reference



All you need to do is copy or take a photo of your Reference Number, bring and pay it to any authorized payment center that you have chosen and voila! Instantly, you will receive another email from the DFA Website confirming that you already paid the correct amount and you have a confirmed appointment with your Passport Application.

The email below shows the actual email sent by the DFA Passport Appointment System. This tells you that your appointment is CONFIRMED and all you have to do is print all the attached documents.


How to Schedule an Appointment for Philippine Passport Application

In the documents that you will download from the link provided in the email contains a 3 paged PDF File. This includes the Checklist, Passport Application Form and lastly, the E Receipt.


I will repeat it again, you must print this document because you need to submit this document as well as the photocopy of Valid IDs and other supporting documents needed to the DFA Passport Application Officer.

Failure to do so will make your passport application invalid and you will not be entertained.

    • Magprint ka nalang po ulit ng E Receipt. Nasa email po ang link kung saan mo ito makukuha. attached din po ito sa isang email sayo.

  • How many days before I recieve the email from DFA ? I already sent my payment through 7/11 last october 31,2018 but until now I didnt receive any message from DFA.

    • Check mo po mabuti ung email mo including spam folders. Dapat po after nyo po magbayad ng DFA Passport Application fee nyo, isesend yung email from DFA.

    PA help naman po aku , Kc kahapon nag fill up aku ng appointment site ng dumaguete yung last na confirm ko na may nakalagay don 1200 ang babayaran bigla nawala signal ko so diko na receive sa email ang reference code …. Nag fill up aku ulit nakalagay doon need I cancel ko yung unang appointment date ko… How po wala po aku na tangap na reference code
